Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of 9Tools. By using the site or booking a launch slot, you agree to them.

The service

  • 9Tools features nine tools each day on our homepage and archive. Makers submit a tool with its link and a $9 fee; we review every submission by hand and schedule approved tools onto an upcoming launch day.

Submitting

  • No account is needed to submit. You provide your tool's link and pay through our payment provider, Stripe. You must have the right to submit the tool, and one submission covers one tool — duplicate or repeated submissions of the same tool may be rejected.

Submissions

  • You must have the right to submit the tool you book a slot for. Submissions must not be illegal, deceptive, malicious (including malware or phishing), or infringe anyone's rights. We may decline or remove any submission at our discretion, including after it has been featured.
  • By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your tool's name, logo, link, and description on 9Tools and in our newsletter.

Payments & refunds

  • Each submission has a flat $9 fee. At checkout your card is only authorized — we review every tool by hand, and the fee is charged only if your tool is approved and scheduled. If we decline it, the hold is released and you pay nothing. Approved submissions are non-refundable once the launch day has passed.

Content & availability

  • Featured listings, click counts, and the archive are provided as-is. We don't endorse featured tools and aren't responsible for third-party sites you visit through 9Tools. We may change or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, 9Tools is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

  • We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
